At Crown, a cocktail-centric bar, we serve up New York-style pizzas and salads inspired by Vitaly’s time spent in the city first as a student at The Juilliard School and later when he began his career as a chef, when he would scour the city for the perfect slice. Close to his heart, Vitaly does pizza the way  done at his three high caliber Portland restaurants, Headwaters, Imperial, and Paley’s Place, except in a more casual spot. A collaboration between Vitaly, Imperial chef Matthew Jarrell, and third generation pizzaiolo Vinny Manna, who learned the art of pizza making from his grandfather in Naples, Italy; the menu features bar snacks, salads and a wide array of pizzas. Pizzas are NY-style, offered both by the slice and whole pie and include classic and signature creations in addition to the Al Metro pies, a sharable behemoth, containing up to three different pizzas in one.
